This event is part of UNCTAD long-term support to the East African Community region within the framework of project funded by Trade Mark East Africa. It is aimed at increasing the capacity of members of the National Trade Facilitation Committee to be in a better position to implement the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
The event corresponds to Module 3 of UNCTAD’s Empowerment Programme. The main objective is to establish Trade Facilitation Implementation Roadmap that includes a vision statement, critical milestones, timelines, follow up and monitoring actions.
