Financed by Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting via Her Majesty Revenue and Customs, the event will address Guyana’s National Trade Facilitation Committee members (NTFC). The objectives are to:
- Improve Guyana NTFC members' understanding on governance, resource mobilization, and sustainability strategies of NTFC according to international best practices;
- Train selected members of the Guyana Trade Facilitation Committee as trainers;
- Draft a knowledge transfer strategy for new NTFC members;
- Build the capacity of members of Guyana’s National Trade Facilitation Committee to finalise the drafting of a 3-5 year trade facilitation implementation roadmap with key performance indicators;
- Launch the Guyana’s National Trade Facilitation Roadmap.
