UNCTAD will attend and intervene in the VI BRICS International Competition Conference dedicated to «10 years of cooperation between the BRICS Competition Authorities: results and prospects» on topics related to digital economy and public procurement.
The BRICS Conference is preceded by the Eurasian Anti-cartel Forum and by a pre-Conference event, the International Academic Workshop by the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Center. BRICS Competition Authorities representatives as well as participants from CIS countries, from some EU and OECD member States and from the OECD are expected to attend the conference.
In addition to attending these events, UNCTAD will hold consultations with officials of the Eurasian Economic Commission on Competition and Consumer protection and with the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of the Russian Federation.
