Organized jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and UNCTAD. The Conference will focus on progress made in the Doha work programme, the outcome of the July Approximation and the way forward to the Sixth WTO Ministerial Conference, with a view to contributing to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The main objective is to co-ordinate the positions of the Arab countries in their priority trade and development areas in the run up to the Hong Kong Ministerial Conference.
