Technology and Logistics

The objective of the Division on Technology and Logistics (DTL) is to enhance the economic development and competitiveness of developing countries - in particular LDCs - through efficient trade logistics services, transit transport systems, increased access to and sustainable utilization of information and communication technology, and training and capacity-building programmes for local institutions.

This is done through analytical work, intergovernmental policy dialogue and implementing technical cooperation and training and capacity building programmes.

The Division consists of three Branches and hosts the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology and carries ASYCUDA - UNCTAD´s largest technical cooperation programme.
