UNCTAD seeks to strengthen and improve institutions in developing countries that are involved in training for international trade and trade-related services.  Under the TRAINFORTRADE methodology developed for this purpose, assistance is provided in the analysis of training needs, the development and adaptation of pedagogical material, networking between institutions, training of trainers and the use of modern technology, including that of distance learning.
