International Trade Centre (ITC)
The ITC is the technical cooperation agency of UNCTAD and the WTO for operational, enterprise-oriented aspects of trade development. ITC supports developing and transition economies in their efforts to realize their full potential for developing exports and improving import operations, particularly in the business sector. 
United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
UNDP is the UN's global development network, on the ground in 166 countries, working with local authorities on solutions to global and national development challenges.
World Bank
The World Bank is not a "bank" in the common sense. It is one of the United Nations' specialized agencies, and is made up of 184 member countries that are jointly responsible for how the institution is financed and how its money is disbursed. Along with the rest of the development community, the World Bank centers its efforts on reaching the Millennium Development Goals aimed at sustainable poverty reduction. The "World Bank" is the name that has come to be used for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). Together these organizations provide low-interest loans, interest-free credit, and grants to developing countries.
UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA)
ECA is one of five regional commissions under the administrative direction of United Nations headquarters. As the regional branch of the UN in Africa, it is has a mandate to support the economic and social development of its 53 member states, foster regional integration, and promote international cooperation for Africa's development. It reports to the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC)
ECLAC, with its headquarters in Santiago, Chile, is one of the five regional commissions of the United Nations. It was founded for the purposes of contributing to the economic development of Latin America, coordinating actions directed towards this end, and reinforcing economic relationships among the countries and the other nations globally.
UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA)
ESCWA is a part of the Secretariat of the United Nations and is one of the five regional commissions which report to the Economic and Social Council, the principal organ of the United Nations responsible for coordinating economic and social activities in the United Nations system.
UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)
The regional branch of the United Nations Secretariat for the Asian and Pacific region has a mandate to support the economic and social development of its member States and foster regional integration.
World Trade Organization (WTO)
The WTO is the only international organization dealing with the global rules of trade between nations.
Agency for International Trade Information and Cooperation (AITIC)
AITIC is an independent organization, based in Geneva, whose goal is to help less advantaged countries to benefit from the globalization process in general and the multilateral trading system, in particular by assisting them in taking a more active part in the work of the WTO and other trade-related organizations in Geneva.
International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD)
The ICTSD, established in Geneva, contributes to a better understanding of development and environment concerns in the context of international trade. As an independent non-profit and non-governmental organization, ICTSD engages a broad range of stakeholders in the ongoing dialogue of trade and sustainable development, building bridges between groups with seemingly disparate agendas.
South Centre
The South Centre is the intergovernmental body of developing countries. It works to assist in developing points of view of the South on major policy issues, and to generate ideas and action-oriented proposals for consideration by South governments, institutions of South-South co-operation, inter-governmental organizations of the South, and non-governmental organizations and the community at large.
