An important element in achieving the objectives and policies outlined in the Bangkok Declaration and Plan of Action, UNCTAD´s technical cooperation emphasizes knowledge sharing and enhancement, human resources development, productive capacity building, as well as support to trade facilitation and logistics, as instruments to facilitate a more equitable integration of developing countries into the global economy and to enhance their economic growth and development prospects. The publications describe the way in which these activities are carried out, their thrust and the synergetic effects of partnerships and collaboration between diverse entities.
