A Training Course on Competition and Consumer Protection for the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq (KRG) was held in Geneva from 2-9 September 2008.
The Training Course was designed to provide basic knowledge on competition law and policy and to introduce consumer protection issues including the UN Guidelines on Consumer Protection.
The Course was attended by 16 participants from the Parliament, the Council of Ministers, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior and the academia. The trainees participated actively in the deliberations of the Course and their commitment to learning was highly commendable.
