  04 December - To provide policy-makers and the international investment community with up-to-date information about the latest developments in national and international foreign investment policies, UNCTAD has issued its new Investment Policy Monitor.
 03 December - Building on the partnership that created and facilitated the International Task Force on Harmonization and Equivalence in Organic Agriculture (ITF) from 2003 to 2008, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM) and UNCTAD have launched the Global Organic Market Access (GOMA) project.
 02 December - Developing country parties to the Global System of Trade Preferences (GSTP) today met at ministerial level and adopted a decision on "modalities" for slashing tariffs in the trade they carry out with each other.
 01 December - To provide an up-to-date assessment of global FDI flows, UNCTAD has launched the Global Investment Trends Monitor. The inaugural issue covers global FDI trends in the second quarter of 2009 and also offers FDI estimates for the third quarters of 2009.
