  01 Dec 11 - New UNCTAD publication makes the case for a new international aid architecture, that would improve on the deficiencies of the current model and help developing countries better meet national development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals.
 17 Nov - The 2011 Report argues that the LDCs need to go beyond business as usual in order to promote inclusive and sustainable development and it suggests how South–South cooperation supports such a transformational agenda.
 19 Sept - During the Trade and Development Board plenary devoted to UNLDC-IV outcomes, member States commended UNCTAD on its work to date and called for its active contribution to implementing the Istanbul Programme of Action.
28 April - UNCTAD will participate extensively in the Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries (LDC-IV), in keeping with its mandated responsibilities to promote trade and development in those countries.
