Briefing on progress made in the implementation of WSIS outcomes over the past ten years

In view of the General Assembly's overall review on the implementation of the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) and as a contribution to its preparatory process, the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) conducted a ten-year review of the implementation of the WSIS outcomes during its 18th session in May 2015.

The report entitled "Implementing WSIS Outcomes: A Ten-Year Review", prepared by the CSTD secretariat, served as a basis for the discussion.

In this context, UNCTAD, as the substantive secretariat of the CSTD, is pleased to invite you to a briefing by Ms. Anne Miroux, Director, Division of Technology and Logistics, UNCTAD, and Head of the CSTD Secretariat, based on the "Implementing WSIS Outcomes: A Ten-Year Review" report.

The event is open to all Member States and other interested stakeholders.
