Creative Business Forum

The Creative Business Forum under the theme ‘Creative Economy in a New Reality’ is part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. It will address the development of national creative industry programmes and projects as part of the wide-ranging global efforts that many international organizations are carrying out to develop the creative economy.

The session on Creative industries: statistics, exports and integration into the global economy” will address the management standards, and statistical accounting which is crucial for Russia, where there is still no clarity in federal and regional data on the creative economy sector. Discussing and coordinating positions in terms of approaches and statistics is an important step not only towards drafting regulatory documents, but also developing exports and integrating domestic creative goods into world markets. What estimates exist on the size of the creative industry today? How can creative industries statistics be recognized and kept in line with international standards? What systemic initiatives in the regions can become drivers for the development of creative production and entrepreneurship?.
