Empowering the National Trade Facilitation Committee of São Tomé e Príncipe and its Secretariat

The Intensive executive training* for members of the NTFC Secretariat aims at reinforcing the capacities of officials in charge of the National Trade Facilitation Committee.

By the end of the executive training, chairperson and members of the NTFC Secretariat of São Tomé e Principe will have acquired skills to:

• Effectively run and chair an NTFC
• Draft a resource mobilization strategy
• Monitor and Evaluate trade facilitation initiative
• Use the Reform Tracker** to its full potential

Additionally, UNCTAD will organize a workshop aiming at assisting the National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) members and relevant focal points on the development of their National Trade Facilitation Roadmap. During the workshop the participants will receive training on the use of the UNCTAD Reform Tracker, as a monitoring tool of trade facilitation reforms.

This training, conducted under the framework of the "Accelerate Trade Facilitation" Programme***, is financially supported by His Majesty's Customs and Revenues of the United Kingdom.
