Practical examples from developing countries and methodologies for enhancing trade as an engine for achieving sustainable development and the objectives of the CBD were presented, including Colombia (Ministerio de Ambiente, Vivienda y Desarrollo Territorial, Felipe Gomez Villota), and also the innovative approach of linking BioTrade and programmes for the Reintegration of Ex-combatants in post-conflict areas in Africa and Asia (Adrienne Stork, UNDP-UNCTAD).

Finally, the the on-line course on "BioTrade and Value Chain development" was launched.
