This year's report will cover the five mainstream topics of maritime transport: maritime freight, world fleet, rates and markets, ports, and regulatory and legal framework.
It will put a special focus on trade and transport in developing countries and highlight the cross-cutting importance of sustainable maritime transport for the Sustainable Development Goals.
It will push the debate on sustainability concerns such as technological developments, including automation and maritime connectivity, as well as monitoring of competition issues, and the environment.
