The Viet Nam Ministry of Industry and Trade, in partnership with the UK Government, and in cooperation with UNCTAD, will officially launch the Viet Nam National Trade Repository (VNTR).
The VNTR is a free-to-access online information portal that will provide the latest trade information in English and Vietnamese. International traders, importers, exporters and other visitors will be able to access accurate and official information on preferential tariffs, rules of origins, non-tariff measures, trade and customs laws and rules and other relevant information relating to trade.
The non-tariff measures information is presented with the support of UNCTAD, following the international approach of coding NTMs.
Objective
To introduce the VNTR website to the wider business community, policymakers and the private sector.
Participation
The hybrid event is open to the public. Participants will include representatives from the governments of Viet Nam and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, UNCTAD, the Association of Southeastern Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the private sector.
