Launching ceremony of The Least Developed Countries Report 2022 in China

UNCTAD and the Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) organized a launching ceremony of The Least Developed Countries Report 2022 in China. The ceremony comprised the presentation of the main messages of the report, followed by discussions and comments on specific topics, including climate finance, LDCs’ participation in multilateral trade negotiations, structural transformation and the South-South cooperation between China and the LDCs. These discussions were carried out by scholars and researchers on development and trade from SUIBE, Fudan University and the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Cooperation. The discussions provided topics for further research and deepening of the analytical work. The event was attended by 60 participants, of which 28 female, joining from 15 different countries.
