Module 5 Webinar of the Gambia Online Empowerment Training for National Trade Facilitation Committee

The members of the National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFCs) from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) are participating in UNCTAD’s e-Learning Course for National Trade Facilitation Committees*. As part of this training, ten webinars will be organized.

The fifth module is entitled “Introduction to WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement”. After completing the fifth module, participants will be more familiar with the history that led to the adoption of the WTO TFA, the structure of the Agreement and the nature of the obligations; and the groundbreaking special and differential treatment provisions available for developing and least developing countries.

The objective of the webinar is to provide NTFCs from the ECOWAS countries with an opportunity to discuss more in-depth the content of the fifth module of the UNCTAD e-Learning Course for NTFCs. Besides discussion on the content of the module, participants will also have the chance to share their experience on the best use of the platform.
