This opening ceremony of the e-Learning course on Gender perspectives in Trade Facilitation will take place on 8 March 2022. During the course, participants from Sao Tome and Principe will learn from international experts about the link between trade facilitation and gender. The topics covered in the course and webinars include the challenges faced by cross-border women traders and how the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement addresses those challenges; how to mainstream gender perspective in the National Trade Facilitation Committee and in trade facilitation policies; gender equality and diversity in Customs, among others.
