Operationalization of Ivory Coast Trade Facilitation Committee and Launch of Empowerment Programme

​This will be the first event organized within the framework of the USAID-funded project to assist in the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
Jointly organized with the International Trade Center and financed by USAID, the event will address Ivory Coast’s National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:
- Introduce UNCTAD's Empowerment Program for the Members of the Ivory Coast’s National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
- Increase Ivory Coast NTFC members' understanding on trade facilitation advantages and key aspects;
- Identify training needs and possible improvements for Ivory Coast’s Trade Facilitation Committee;
- Compare Ivory Coast NTFC’s Terms of Reference with international best practices.
