3rd WAIPA Regional Meeting and
2nd Training Workshop for South American IPAs
The UNCTAD-WAIPA regional training is being hosted by the Argentina's National Investment Development Agency, ProsperAr, WAIPA´s Directorship for South America.
Through the workshop, participants will gain a better understanding of how investor targeting is conducted in the services sector, more specifically in shared services and tourism.
The event will host speakers from both sides of the FDI scene: IPAs and investing firms.
The IPA representatives will comment on their investor targeting work while services sector companies will address the factors that made a certain location attractive including the role played by the IPA.
A site visit to the offices of a transnational corporation exporting services from Argentina is included in the programme.
