Pursuant to General Assembly resolution 68/202, the Second Committee of the sixty-ninth session of the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council will hold a special joint meeting to consider lessons learned from the debt crises and the ongoing work on sovereign debt restructuring and debt resolution mechanisms on Tuesday, 14 October 2014, from 15:00 to 18:00, in Conference Room 2 (CB).
The joint meeting will be co-chaired by the Chair of the Second Committee, His Excellency Sebastiano Cardi (Italy) and the President of the Economic and Social Council, His Excellency Martin Sajdik (Austria).
