UNCTAD is launching a pilot programme in Madagascar, Namibia and Lesotho to support them in the implementation of Article 10.1 of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement. This Article relates to the review and simplification of formalities.
By the end of this training, stakeholders will have a better understanding of what is a business process analysis and why it is important in trade facilitation reforms. They will also learn what is considered to be a perfectly documented procedure, and how to map the procedure using the UNCTAD Procedure Analysis and Simplification Tool.
This pilot project and training takes place in the framework of UNCTAD’s project “Accelerate Trade Facilitation”, financed by the United Kingdom.
