Training skills for a sustainable national trade facilitation committee – Special Intensive Module 2 of UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees

Financed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) , the event will address Antigua and Barbuda National Trade Facilitation Committee members. The objectives are to:

  • Deliver the Special Intensive Module 2 of UNCTAD's Empowerment Programme for Members of the Antigua and Barbuda’s National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC);
  • Build the capacity of members of Antigua and Barbuda’s National Trade Facilitation Committee to draft a 3-5-year trade facilitation implementation roadmap with key performance indicators;
  • Improve Antigua and Barbuda NTFC members' understanding on governance, resource mobilization, and sustainability strategies of NTFCs for the successful implementation of trade facilitation reforms according to international best practices;
  • To train selected members of the Antigua and Barbuda Trade Facilitation Committee as trainers;
  • To draft a knowledge transfer strategy for new NTFC members;
