This will be the Third event of UNCTAD in the South Pacific Region in the framework of Pacific Agreement on Closer Economic relations (PACER) Plus.
The event will address participants of Niue to validate their work in increasing their regulatory transparency in trade and investment-related capacity to reach the standards set out in the PACER Plus.
This event will also serve as an opportunity to officially launch their National Trade Portals, do specific trainings and use the collected expertise of the UNCTAD team present to support countries in advancing with the PACER Plus Project.
Key governmental and non-governmental stake holders such as The Chamber of Commerce, Business Associations of Small and Medium Enterprises, Shipping Agents, Importers/Exporters as well as other representatives of the private sector, Standardization bodies and regulatory Institutions, Customs, Port/Airport Authorities, Government officials managing the publication of legislation through national databases or PACLII and Media representatives among others will be invited for such occasion.
