The role of business and the financial sector in financing a sustainable and resilient recovery from COVID-19
The high-level event on the margins of the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2021 will engage representatives of governments, business and the world of finance (stock exchanges, banks, insurance companies, asset owners and asset managers) to discuss experiences, solutions and initiatives around the world, facilitating the financing transition towards more inclusive, sustainable and resilient societies.
The event will start with a high-level opening session followed by a moderated Davos style discussion with private sector representatives on specific actions necessary to advance sustainable finance and climate action, an inclusive job-rich recovery and leverage disruptions of digital technologies.
