The workshop is held to present and debate the main findings of the Diagnostic Trade Integration Study (DTIS) Update for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The DTIS Update analyzes the status of trade integration, and the evolution of key economic sectors, such as agriculture, forestry, mining and tourism. The DTIS also examines the problems of trade facilitation (including the linkages between road, river and railway connectivity), as well as trade- and investment-related institutional reforms. The validation workshop will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the key recommendations provided by UNCTAD.
The aim of the workshop is to validate the findings of the DTIS Update with the Government of DRC .
