Webinar on trade facilitation and e-business standards and recommendations by UN/CEFACT for members of the national trade facilitation committee of Namibia

The members of Namibia’s National Trade Facilitation Committee (NTFC) are participating at UNCTAD e-Learning Course for National Trade Facilitation Committees*. As part of this training, nine webinars will be organized with the members of the Namibia NTFC. The ninth module/lesson is entitled “Trade facilitation and e-business standards and recommendations by UN/CEFACT”. After completing the ninth module, participants will be more versed with various international standards, recommendations and tools designed and published by organizations such as the United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT). The module shows how UN/CEFACT works and why these international organizations are important for the efficient functioning of the global trading system.

The objective of the webinar is to provide Namibia NTFC with an opportunity to discuss more in depth the content of the ninth module of UNCTAD e-Learning Course for NTFC. Besides discussion on the content of the module, participants will also have the chance to share their experience on the best use of the platform*.
