Working Party on the Programme Plan and Programme Performance, eighty-third session

• Programme budget

  The Working Party will review the draft UNCTAD programme plan and performance information for the year 2023, part II of the proposed programme budget.
   

• Technical cooperation strategy

  At its sixty-seventh session in 2020, the Trade and Development Board welcomed the start of the drafting of a new technical cooperation strategy and called on UNCTAD to finalize the strategy in close collaboration with member States and in time for its adoption and implementation after the fifteenth session of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

  The UNCTAD secretariat will circulate a conference room paper on the new technical cooperation strategy, for consideration prior to adoption.

Logistics

The session will be held with physical participation, in room XIX of the Palais des Nations, and remote participation, through a simultaneous interpretation platform in the six official languages of the United Nations.
