The Workshop was organised by UNCTAD, in collaboration with and the East African Community (EAC) in Kampala, Uganda from 21-23 September 2015.

The objective of the workshop was to identify essential crosscutting linkages and coherence among regional and national policies related to industry, trade and health in order to improve the policy environment for local production of pharmaceutical and medical products, and improve access to medicines in EAC Partner States.
