  20 May - Progress made in the implementation of and follow-up to the outcomes of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) at the regional and international levels - as well as other issues - will be addressed at a meeting in Geneva from 26 to 30 May.
 10 October - The UNCTAD Secretariat has prepared two information notes detailing the terms and procedures for the participation of non-governmental organizations, civil society entities and business sector entities in the work of the CSTD.
25 May - The 10th Session of the Commission of Science and Technology for Development was completed on 25th May, 2007 in Geneva, Switzerland with the successful adoption by consensus of a Draft Decision and Draft Resolution for submission to ECOSOC for its consideration at its forthcoming substantive session scheduled to take place in Geneva in July, 2007.
 21 May - The second edition of the World Information Society Report: Beyond WSIS, published by ITU and UNCTAD, looks beyond WSIS to the creation of an inclusive, people-centred and development-oriented information society, open to all, benchmarking the continuing growth of the information society around the world.
