This webpage represents historical trends of economic and demographic data for the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) since the establishment of the Palestinian National Authority in 1994.
The main source of the data is the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS). While some of the demographic data includes East Jerusalem, economic data does not include it due to Israeli restriction of the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) in Jerusalem.
The fluctuations in the economic data reflects the firmness of the Israeli measures including the closure policy and the tight blockade on Gaza since 2007.
