1st Meeting of the Consultative Task Force (CTF) on Environmental Requirements and Market Access for Developing Countries

Geneva, Switzerland. 5-6 Nov 2004

Venue and timing. The first substantive CTF meeting will be held at the Palais des Nations on 5-6 November 2004. The meeting will be held right after the next session of the TBT Committee.

Attendance: The meeting is open to all UN member countries and interested stakeholders from academia, NGOs and the private sector. Official invitations for the meeting will be circulated in the first half of September.

Objective: The meeting will discuss the CTF work programme for 2005. This will include a discussion on the width and depth of well-focused, meaningful and time-limited thematic activities that will be launched under the CTF umbrella.
