UNCTAD/ UNESCAP back to back event 2: Liberalization of Environmental Goods and Services and its Contribution to Fulfilling the MDGs in Asia and the Pacific

This workshop will take the form of an informal brainstorming that will focus on (i) several background studies for UNCTAD's Trade and Environment Review 2007 that elaborate on various aspects of the EGS problematique; and (ii) conceptual issues of the WTO EGS negotiations and their link to MDG implementation. The meeting will bring together Geneva- and capital-based negotiators/experts as well as several researchers.
