UNCTAD is holding a workshop entitled "Maximizing the Contribution of Organic Agriculture to Achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the Asia- Pacific Region".

Key questions to be addressed:
• How does organic agriculture contribute to achieving MDGs, particularly in the Asia and Pacific region?
• What policy measures and actions could Governments in the region take to enhance this contribution, at national and regional level?
