Our work on trade and poverty
to which Secretary General of UNCTAD is attaching particular significance,
will also contribute to resolving one of the greatest moral and humanitarian
challenges facing us this century not the least because poverty is both
a cause and an effect relationship with gender equity. In more ways
than one, the world's fight against poverty should begin with women. |
