Under the framework of UNCTAD MENA Programme, UNCTAD is organizing a Regional Workshop on Competition Law and Policy in cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Trade.
The workshop main objective is to present, discuss and validate the guidelines on competition agency effectiveness, competition on business compliance and further disseminate the competitive neutrality guidelines. The topic of public procurement will also be discussed. The target audience includes representatives from Competition authorities, relevant Ministries and business representatives from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia and State of Palestine.
The workshop will be opened by Mr. Omar Behi, Minister of Trade of Tunisia and Ms. Teresa Moreira, Head of Competition and Consumer Policies Branch of UNCTAD.
