This event will mark the closing of the course on Monitoring and Evaluation for Trade Facilitation*.

In this event, apart from showing the final results and statistics of the course, the use of the Reform Tracker will be highlighted as a monitoring and evaluation tool, and partner countries will be able to share how they are monitoring the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.

This course is part of the UNCTAD Empowerment Programme for National Trade Facilitation Committees (NTFC).

The course is designed to strengthen NTFC members’ capacities in monitoring and evaluation. By the end of this course, NTFC members understand the main concepts of monitoring and evaluation and how they are relevant in the context of trade facilitation. They also become more familiar with the planning tools and approaches, as well as the key components of a monitoring plan. Finally, this course shows the main steps NTFC members need to follow in order to conduct an evaluation.
