This workshop is organized by the Turkish Competition Authority in cooperation with UNCTAD. It provides an opportunity to discuss competition in the digital platform economy in general, focusing on market definition and dominance in digital platforms, as well as consumer harm arising therein. UNCTAD and OECD representatives will present their initiatives to enhance international cooperation in competition law enforcement. Participants will share their experiences in handling cross-border competition cases.
The event aims at bringing together competition case handlers to exchange experiences and identify effective ways of cooperation between their agencies. The audience includes representatives of competition authorities from Eastern Europe, North Africa and Central Asia.
