The OECD Competition Committee promotes regular exchanges of view and analysis on competition policy issues through Best Practice Roundtable
Best Practice Roundtable is held twice a year. Invited experts give a presentation on topics to be discussed and countries submit reports, which are published within the Best Practice Roundtable on Competition Policy series.
The upcoming Roundtable will address four topics such as independent sector regulators and competition, access to the case file and protection of confidential information, barriers to exit in competition, hub-and-spoke arrangements in competition.
UNCTAD will participate in the Roundtable to share cutting edge issues and knowledge in competition community, which will contribute in providing and designing programs for member states.
UNCTAD will also attend one of the side events, African Competition Forum and present audience with UNCTAD Cooperation Framework on Guiding Policies and Procedures under Section F of the UN Set on Competition (GPPSF).
