The Minister in charge of Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has invited UNCTAD to participate in an international Competition seminar which will discuss key investigations regarding the Competition law enforcement practices of the EEC.
In addition to this event, UNCTAD will hold consultations with officials of the EEC, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation and the Skolkovo-HSE Institute for Law and Development regarding the ongoing UNCTAD legal assessment of Eurasian Economic Union legislation on competition law and policy.
UNCTAD will also meet with the Head of the FAS, Russia, Mr. Igor Artemiev, in order to discuss ongoing UNCTAD work on international cooperation in Competition law enforcement, scheduled for the upcoming IGE meeting on Competition Law and Policy to be held in July in Geneva.
