Together with the SACU Secretariat and the Commonwealth Secretariat, UNCTAD is organizing a workshop to consult with SACU Member States on how they can advance work on e-commerce. Representatives from the relevant Ministries responsible for trade and the digital economy from SACU Member States, the African Union and African regional economic communities, international organizations such as UNDP, and the WTO and donors will contribute to this workshop. The event will provide an opportunity for experience sharing and to enhance knowledge and build the capacity for Member States to engage in e-commerce. The report of the workshop will be presented to SACU Senior Trade Officials.
