Ms. Teresa Moreira, Head of Competition and Consumer Policies at UNCTAD will address the issue of “Prospects of consumer protection in times of crises” on 3 November 2022 at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Ms. Moreira will be accompanied by Dr. Sebastián Barocelli, teacher and researcher at the University of Buenos Aires and former National Director for Consumer Defense of Argentina.
The event is open to all and aims at reflecting with university and post graduate students on the state of consumer protection in the context of the cascading crises of the war in Ukraine, the climate emergency and the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Moreira will analyze existing consumer protection tools and propose a way forward.
