The Spanish-speaking Network of UNCTAD’s Port Management Programme/TrainForTrade is organizing the delivery of Module 6 of the Modern Port Management course on " Economic and commercial management" in collaboration with the National Logistics Institute (INALOG) and the Navigation Centre (CENAVE) and Port Authorities of Gijon and Valencia.
The training will take place from 18 to 21 March 2024 and is intended for the 1st cohort, which consists of 25 middle port managers, including 7 women. The training course will be delivered an expert from the Port Authority of Gijon (Spain).
UNCTAD’s TrainForTrade Port Management Programme supports port communities in their quest for efficient and competitive port management. In order to increase trade flows and foster economic development, the programme creates port networks bringing together public, private and international entities. The aim is to share knowledge and expertise between port operators and strengthen talent management and human resources development in port communities.
