The first High-Level meeting on the Creative Economy component under the EU-UNCTAD Joint Programme for Angola: Train for Trade II, will be organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MINDCOM) on 18 May 2020.

The Creative Economy Component under the Train for Trade II Programme focuses on enhancing the economic potential of cultural and creative industries in Angola for employment, trade and development gains. The High-Level Meeting will bring together representatives of the Government of the Republic of Angola, the European Union and UNCTAD.

The aim of the meeting is to present the Creative Economy component of the Train for Trade II programme, its structure, phasing and technical team, as well as to collect contributions from the different government agencies and to agree on the next stages of the joint inter-ministerial and cross-agency work plan.
