The Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) Review of the Dominican Republic will be officially presented in Santo Domingo on Thursday, 21 June 2012.
 
This report produced by UNCTAD in collaboration with ECLAC provides an analysis of the effectiveness of the range of science, technology and innovation policies and measures available in the Dominican Republic. Based on this analysis, the review suggests a set of policy recommendations to foster the contribution that science, technology and innovation make to national development and to improve national capacities in science, technology and innovation.
 
The report also discusses the potential for innovation in three strategic sectors: agroindustry, health and energy.
