The fourth meeting of the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development was held from 25 to 27 September 2017 in room XXVI of the Palais des Nations, Geneva.
This meeting was the fourth in a series of meetings intended to facilitate the reporting of the Working Group to the twenty-first session of the Commission on Science and Technology for Development in 2018.
During the meeting Working Group agreed to the following timeline for its intersessional work:
- By 15 October proponents circulate revised recommendations
- By end October: Chair circulates a first draft of the report
- By end November: Stakeholders submit track change amendments to the Chair
- By first week of January: Chair circulates a clean second draft of the report for discussion at the next meeting.
Therefore and as a follow-up to the meeting, we would like to invite proponents to send their revised recommendations to the Secretariat (stdev@unctad.org) by 15 October 2017.
