UNCTAD and International Trade Centre (ITC), in cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH have implemented the project “Addressing Market Access Barriers in Selected Supply Chains in CEFTA” in six CEFTA parties.
Between October 2015 and May 2016, an analysis of different obstacles to trade for beverages and auto-parts industries identified by the private sector has been undertaken and actionable recommendations for policy options were proposed at national and regional levels.

This workshop aims at providing a forum for review and discussion of the project’s key results, lessons learned and outlook for next steps beyond the project. In particular, the workshop is aimed at consolidating the ground for implementing the recommendations arising from the project’s national reports as well as at identifying priorities for the follow up actions at regional level.
